artist Bio
Makenna Karp is a fantasy illustrator and oil painter working in the entertainment and publishing industries. In addition to illustration, she showcases and sells her original pieces in galleries. Her focus revolves around fantasy and sci-fi themes, especially magical ladies.
Commencing her formal art education at Pratt Institute in 2019, Makenna took a different path after a year, immersing herself in traditional painting and drawing at Watts Atelier from 2022 to 2024. Currently, she calls northern California home.
