Kyle Cox is a freelance fantasy illustrator based in Salem, Oregon. At age 30, he finally gave in to the inevitable pull of dragons, dungeons, and digital paintbrushes, trading in a sensible career path to chase the dream of drawing cool stuff for his favorite games. His work blends traditional painterly aesthetics with dynamic, story-driven compositions. Basically, he likes making pictures that feel like a freeze-frame from an epic moment you wish you were part of. When he’s not wrestling pixels, he’s literally wrestling—teaching kids and adults how to fold clothes (with people still in them) as a Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor. Outside of that, you’ll likely find him rolling dice in a D&D session, playing MtG with some friends, hoarding fantasy and comic books like a greedy little goblin, or haunting the corner of a local café with his sketchbook in hand.
