My name is Yaëll and I'm a 2D illustrator from the Netherlands, graduated in 2018 with a bachelor in Visual Communication and illustration from Maastricht Academy of Media Design & Technology. I have worked as an illustrator in-house at a media studio (Cre-Aid) and I'm currently a freelancer illustrator. You can occasionally find me selling pop culture and fantasy inspired original art, prints and other merch at conventions. Currently I'm creating 2D illustrations for books, whiskey and beer labels, table top board games, concept art and splash art.
I have always had a fascination with fantasy and science fiction art, with a special interest in creature design. I was especially obsessed with the art book of Star Wars: Episode I. A career here-in seemed like a castle in the sky, but lately I realised that it might just be possible to chase that dream.
