Tatiana Dengo is a Costa Rican-American fine artist currently based in flat, flat Texas, yet always missing her homeland's tropical valleys. Working in her preferred medium of gouache, Tatiana is inspired by Monet’s and van Gogh's bright, vibrating brushstrokes. She almost exclusively portrays the friendly household feline; with an optimistic aim to recover the childlike sense of joy that these pointy-eared creatures have always brought her. ​
