Sonia Lai is a Bay Area illustrator whose work incorporates a stylized mix of ukiyo-e, art nouveau, and graphic elements.
Her pieces have been recognized by 3x3, Communication Arts, National Academy of Medicine, and more. Her past clients include Tor Books, Macmillan Children's Publishing Group, and St. Martin's Press.
Outside of art, she works as a Nurse Practitioner and enjoys the unique challenges of balancing art, medicine, and getting enough sleep.
