Sonia Lai is a digital illustrator based in San Francisco. Her work incorporates a stylized mix of ukiyo-e, art nouveau, and graphic elements.
Her pieces have been featured by National Academy of Medicine, Johns Hopkins University, UCSF Medical Center, Yale Global Health Review, Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, Gallery Nucleus, and more.
Outside of art, she works as a Preoperative Nurse Practitioner and enjoys the unique challenges of balancing art, medicine, and getting enough sleep.
