SHARON SAYEGH b. 1956 USA www.SharonSayegh.com Sayeghfineart@gmail.com 908-812-1734 BIO Sharon Sayegh is a contemporary artist making original art for sale who lives and works in New Jersey. Her work infused with the beauty of nature, animals and women deals with universal and contemporary themes utilizing narratives, metaphor and symbolism. She works in oils with gold, and palladium leaf. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from University of Pennsylvania where she studied under Neil Welliver and graduated Cum Laude. She continued her art studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. She exhibited in the Human Rights Exhibition at South Texas College, as well as the Holocaust Museum Houston. Her work is in the permanent collection of South Texas College, McAllen, Texas and private collections internationally. She is a member of IGOR (International Guild of Realism) and is a Signature Member of Artists for Conservation. She is a member of the National Association of Women Artists. She received the Bernadette Award 2020 from NAWA and an Honorable Mention in the 2020 All Women Show at JMane Gallery. She exhibited at the ArtFair14C in Jersey City, NJ. She was an invited Curator/Juror at Alliance of Monmouth County, Red Bank NJ. Her work was featured at TedXNavasink2014. Her work has been exhibited in New Jersey Arts Annual, PoetsArtists Secondary Meaning: Figural Diptychs, curated by Steven Alan Bennett and Elaine Melotti Schmidt and Movie Night curated by Rick Davidman. She was featured artist in Artsy Shark and has work published in many arts and literary publications.
