Ryan Schuette is a Texas-based illustrator and political cartoonist with a lifelong love of
fantasy, science fiction, and good storytelling through art. He specializes in pen and ink, colored pencil, pastel, graphite, and digital illustration. His fantasy illustrations appear in his award-winning epic fantasy novels, A Seat for the Rabble and An End to Kings; several of these works placed in the Illustrators of the Future Contest. His cartoons have been published by NPR, alongside his reporting as a journalist, and he’s the author and illustrator of The Art of the Big Lie: Political Cartoons About the Fight for America’s Soul.
