Ryan Schuette is a Texas-based illustrator and political cartoonist with a lifelong love of
fantasy, science fiction, and visual storytelling. He specializes in pen and ink, colored pencil, pastel, graphite, and digital illustration. His fantasy illustrations appear in his award-winning epic fantasy novels, A Seat for the Rabble and An End to Kings; several of these works placed in the Illustrators of the Future Contest. His cartoons have been published by NPR, alongside his reporting as a journalist, and he’s the author and illustrator of The Art of the Big Lie: Political Cartoons About the Fight for America’s Soul.
