N.J. Wraith is a New York City-based oil painter working in figurative, symbolic and romantic portraiture and imagery. She works on linen, wood panel, and gilded surfaces. Her paintings draw from Pre-Raphaelite and Symbolist traditions, medieval manuscript illumination, folklore illustration and Northern Renaissance technique.
