artist Bio

As an Artist Mark Moreno works under the name Mark Sarmel. Mark’s work often deals with diverse people and cultures. Mythological Portraiture is a good way to describe his work and his focus is mainly on creating portraits of strong characters for BIPOC stories. Stylistically his work fuses bold colors with beautiful linework that recalls his love of comics and also his Latin American roots. He is looking to illustrate book covers for both Young Adult books and anything dealing with mythology. Comic book covers, video game art, and DnD Character art are all also on his list of things he would love to do
