artist Bio

Lisa Tantillo is an Atlanta based oil painter who attended the University of Georgia where she received BFAs in painting and ceramics from the Lamar Dodd School of Art. She has traveled the country with her husband for the past 10 years working fine art shows, displaying and selling her original oil paintings and their collaborative ceramic work with their clay venture, Calou Calay. After college she continued to pursue mentorships with professional artists to develop her technical skills and body of work. Lisa uses her work as a lens through which to examine the relationship between nature and the ever industrializing human world. ​
