I'm Kira Night, an artist and illustrator based in the Midwest United States. I specialize in the horror and dark fantasy genres, though I've also dipped my toes into horror-romance and monster romance. I aim to bring ominous, often supernatural themes to life with elegance and a touch of the surreal. Companionship, loneliness, and monstrous characters often feature in my work and are big sources of inspiration.
Much of my previous client work has been covers and interior illustrations for indie young adult, adult horror-romance, and middle grade books. I'd love to continue down that road with traditionally-published horror and dark fantasy books and short stories! Though digital is my current preferred medium, I have been branching out to graphite and acrylic ink, and at times combining all three.
