Karen MacKenzie is an artist/illustrator based in the Pacific Northwest. Her work has evolved from her roots in the tradition of The Northwest School (and mentorship with Charles Stokes) to a more illustrative style. She has had work shown in various galleries in Seattle, numerous publications, theater projects, and has recently signed on with The Syracuse Cultural Workers (a publishing house focused on Social Justice).
