Hi, my name is Jerome Stueart. I'm a freelance editorial illustrator and writer based in Knoxville, Tennessee.  I work with traditional materials, acrylic, gouache, watercolor, graphite, pen and ink.  My work is anchored in our shared human experiences. I want to move people with my art.  I'm inspired by New Yorker cover artists, especially Barry Blitt, John Cuneo, Adrian Tomine, Victoria Tentler-Krylov, and Peter de Seve, as well as illustrators like Arthur Rackham, Charles Vess, Maurice Sendak, and Shaun Tan.  I'm looking for work as an editorial illustrator, or creating covers for magazines, illustrations for children's books, or adult fantasy and science fiction covers.  Original Art is for sale.
