I’m Harkalé Linaï, a French artist and freelance illustrator. I create painterly, colourful illustrations, playing with brushstrokes and organic shapes to build dreamlike pictures. My work is inspired by the beauty and wonderful diversity of our world and of the people who live in it – and by countless hours spent reading fantastical literature or playing roleplaying games.
I love illustrating books (mostly fantasy, of course, with some non-fantasy young adult and romance here and there) and creating art for tabletop and video role-playing games, often focusing on emotional moments and quiet scenes... But really, as long as I get to paint nature, people, surreal settings or glowing magic, I’m happy!
