Dontavious Green, also known as Noctavious, is a U.S. Army veteran, fantasy illustrator, and painter based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Working across traditional and digital media, he is currently pursuing a BFA in Illustration at the Academy of Art University.
His art explores dark fantasy, horror, and character driven storytelling through atmospheric environments, dramatic compositions, and imaginative design. His work was featured in the Academy of Art University’s 2025 Spring Show. He is also active within both the Minneapolis arts community and the local veteran community.
Dontavious is building a career in trading card games, tabletop roleplaying games, book covers, and fantasy publishing. When he is not painting vampires, zombies, and other things that probably should not be wandering around after sunset, he creates terrariums, miniature living worlds that are considerably less hostile.
