artist Bio
I'm a Mexican artist living in the USA, mainly self-taught until my first SAS mentorship in 2019. Using Fantasy as my main language, I love creating pieces that portray female representing characters and creatures, specially horses, dragons and more. In 2020, I created the first drawings for an ongoing series about Gorgons and breaking our understanding of Medusa. In these drawings and paintings I explore her as a victim of clouded perception and reclaiming her existence in the world.
My works are part of the current roster for Every Day Original and in the launch of Beyond the Every Day. I've created covers for Dune Dragons (Gretchen Rose, 2019), A Larger Reality 2.0 A timeline in which we don't go extinct (Libia Brenda, 2019. Interior art), The Woven Path Tarot (TBA) Mermaids Monthly (April 2021 cover), Texas Horror Anthology (Dusk/Shonuff 2022, retail cover) and I'm currently creating a tarot deck called the "Unbridled Spirit Tarot" for Llewellyn International with a full focus on horses throughout history of humanity (estimated to release in 2024). I have experience with private commissions and sale of original art through my website and events.
I would love to keep exploring illustration for books, card games, tarot decks and projects where I can push my limits and bring something special to the table.
