My name is Daniel Bitton and I am an illustrator from Ft. Lauderdale, FL working primarily in science fiction and fantasy. I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration in 2019.I was lucky enough to grow up in an artistic household that was very supportive and nurturing toward my early interests in art. My love for drawing began in early childhood as a way to connect with stories, worlds, and characters inspired by my favorite books and games. I love to depict fantastic characters and tell stories through illustration which are inspired by dreams, myths, and history. I work with a mix of digital and traditional media. This working process gives me the freedom to experiment with new media and the flexibility to digitally manipulate and edit colors without having to wait for paint to dry. I’m obsessed with the layers of texture from various media because of the soft and tactile quality it adds to the paintings. I have worked on both short story and book illustrations and am currently pursuing work in book covers and RPG’s. When I’m not drawing, you can find me running through the beautiful rolling hills of West Chester, PA, where I currently live.
