My name is Charlie Roberts, I'm a Brit currently living in El Salvador since 2023. I'm a cartoonist and comic author. My work ranges from semi-fictional autobiographical, surreal/ dark humour, to non-fiction. Most of my inspiration comes from spending the last ten years in different cultures, such as China, Poland, and now in El Salvador. Being immersed in different cultures can put an odd perspective on things. For the most part, I draw and ink my work traditionally, predominantly using brush and ink. On top of that I've also applied paper cutouts, watercolours, digital editing, and various other tools for applying inks.
