Ambi Sun is a Malaysian-born Toronto-based freelance Illustrator and published author. She is inspired by fantastical creatures, mythology, folklore, and legends. Her art is filled with symbolism and it features a diverse range of flora and fauna, brought to life through intricate line-art and a multitude of colors. She focuses her professional art on book illustration, pattern designs, and tabletop game art. She is known for creating the Oriens Tarot deck, an animal-themed tarot deck featuring a diverse range of flora and fauna. Her art has been exhibited at The Light grey art lab and was accepted in the 52nd Illustration West Competition.
