Amanda Scharf is a Columbus Ohio-based Fantasy Illustrator who graduated from the Columbus College of Art and Design with her BFA in Illustration with a Minor in Fine Art. She has worked as a professional Graphic Designer, and is a freelance artist for graphic novels and tabletop games.
She works both Digitally and traditionally with Watercolors and Mixed Media, pulling inspiration from Gothic Art and Japanese textiles and patterns. She creates flowy and dynamic compositions with her loose and gesture-driven style; often incorporating patterns in a fun and unique way.
In her spare time Amanda can be found with her horse, or enjoying a good video game, or maybe just on the couch enjoying a much-needed nap.
