artist Bio
Aaron Long is a traditional oil painter from Kansas City, Missouri. Aaron specializes in Fantasy and Sci-Fi, focusing on environment/landscape paintings, as well as character and creature illustrations. Aaron has been an artist as long as he can remember, always filling his school books with doodles and sketches rather than homework. In 2013, Aaron discovered his love of painting, when he found his mothers old box of art supplies under a shelf in a cabinet. He began following Bob Ross tutorials online, and quickly began painting piece after piece.
Nowadays, Aaron and his wife Shannon are both able to paint full-time, by showing their artwork to hundreds of thousands of social media followers, as well as setting up their art display at some of the largest nerd conventions all over the country. Aaron is open for freelance work, and most enjoys book cover and trading card illustration.
