artist Bio

Aaron Long is a traditional oil painter from Kansas City, Missouri. Aaron specializes in Fantasy and Sci-Fi, with a focus on environment/landscape paintings, as well as character portrait illustrations. Aaron has been an artist as long as he can remember, always having pages and pages of doodles and sketches on his school books rather than homework. In 2013, Aaron discovered his love of painting, when he found his mothers old box of art supplies under a shelf in a cabinet. He began following Bob Ross tutorials online, and quickly began painting piece after piece. Jump to the present day, Aaron and his wife Shannon are both able to paint full-time, by showing their artwork to hundreds of thousands of social media followers online, as well as setting up their art display at nerd conventions all over the country. Aaron has a handful of original paintings available to purchase, as well as art prints. ​
